Product Summary

The Piranha Fatboy driver, at 340cc,  was one of the finest big head drivers on the market when it was released. Since then, heads have got a whole lot bigger, but the recent R&A ruling sets the upper limit at 460cc from 2006. For this reason ,we have decided to introduce the FB440, as the new, larger  “Fat Boy” to take advantage of the larger head size.

Electric blue head, Titanium face and sole, with Piranha 6-tooth Piranha logo hitting mark on top in yellow. A head shape that is reminiscent of drivers costing significantly more, shows quite clearly what this club is about, hitting the ball a very long way.

The first thing you will notice when you pick this up, is that at only 200g, this is a very light head.

Supplied with a Harrison Striper Titanium shaft, in a choice of Stiff or Regular, the FBB 440 is available in 9°, 10.5° or 12   ° loft.

The interchangeable inside and outside weights provide the facility to introduce a fade or draw bias by shifting the weight centre of the club towards the heel or the toe of the club.

We do recommend that once you have worked out where you want the weighting, you apply a dab of glue or a bit of locktite to the threads to stop the screws from coming out.
