Antonio Gelonesi is the Chairman and owner of Piranha Golf. He has wide business experience in the financial services industry and in recent years he has consulted extensively in the energy and renewable and sustainable energy sectors, first as Global Leader for climate change with Deloitte Touche and then as a freelance consultant. In recognition of his devotion to, and love of, the golf industry, Antonio has achieved Master Club Maker status after spending a number of years learning and honing his skills on the PGA Tour. Antonio is the recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree from Sydney University in 1983, a Master of Finance degree from Macquarie University in 1996 and is part way through a Ph D at Southern Cross University. A passionate scientist, engineer and solutions-based inventor, Antonio is also a keen golfer, has owned a golf resort, successfully run high profile men's and women's golf tournaments in Australia and has been a merchant of change in the Australian golf industry for many years. He is very excited and committed about introducing the Piranha Golf brand to the world because he believes it will eventually rank alongside the current prestige equipment providers across the world.
Steve Collins is the President of Piranha Golf USA. He has an extensive banking background in Australia gathered inside the National Australia Bank, followed by a number of successful finance consultancy businesses that he was instrumental in establishing and administering from start-up, and which were particularly focused on servicing niche operators in the golf and tourism, energy and construction industries. Testimony to Steve’s entrepreneurial flair and intense focus on customer service was evident in business volumes referred and drawn down approaching three quarters of a billion Australian dollars over the last fourteen years. Steve is the recipient of a Master of Business Administration degree from Macquarie University in 1993 and is a Senior Fellow of Finance within the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. His capacity to fuse funding facilities with growth opportunities will allow Piranha Golf to pursue opportunities in the sector. Steve was granted permanent USA residency in January 2009 which will allow him to concentrate on growing the business in the USA. A keen golfer and spectator of the game, Steve who has been visited the USA very regularly since 1998 is well placed to maximize opportunities for Piranha Golf in the USA while understanding the dictates of the Australian parent Company.
Andrew Snook is CEO of Piranha Golf USA. Andrew has worked in the golf industry for 25 years and has experience in the United States, Europe and Australia. He has considerable experience in Marketing, Market Research and Finance within the golf industry having evaluated and underwritten golf course loans for several lenders including Textron Financial Corporation totaling more than half a billion U.S. dollars. Most recently he oversaw sales growth of finance products supporting the sale and lease of golf cars and turf equipment. Since leaving TFC, Andrew has applied his broad based golf experience as a consultant providing owners, lenders, investors and manufacturers insight into the U.S. golf industry. It was as a consultant that Andrew re-established a business connection with Antonio and Steve, two professionals he had previously done business with in Australia. Andrew has a Master of Science from Oklahoma State University and a BSc. from the University of London, England. In addition he has undertaken advanced graduate work at the University of Florida. Andrew’s attention to customer service and his broad based industry expertise provide an excellent basis for Piranha Golf’s customer-centric entrance into the U.S. market. A native of England who has been resident in the United States for almost 30 years, Andrew will be Piranha’s principal interpreter ensuring that the business and golfing needs of his customers in the United States will be Piranha Golf’s highest priority.
